About Us
What’s in a name? “7eco10″ is a phrase colloquially used in environmental impact assessments and environmental liability risk reduction, specifically for natural resources and wildlife. “7″ refers to Section 7 of the Endangered Species Act (ESA), which specifies how federal agencies should consult with the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service (USFWS) or the National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) for potential effects to ESA-listed species. Section 10 has provisions for non-federal (e.g. private actions) consultations with USFWS & NMFS.
7eco10 (Sevenecoten, LLC) uses the best available science and the most current regulatory frameworks to navigate through a permitting process. Most of our experience is derived from environmental impact analysis and natural resource management on military lands; however, we are now expanding our focus on the clean energy sector. We are proud of our superb natural resource experts, and proud of the projects that we are involved with. We hope you find this site useful with our white papers and project descriptions.
